Biolea produces these highly aromatic and innovative blends of organic olive oil and citrus fruits at harvest time on the Astrikas Estate. Unlike most flavored oils that use essences, these oils are made by tossing whole fruit directly into the estate's stone press with the newly harvested Koroneiki olives and pressing to produce these surprising oils. The lemon carries its memorable smell of natural cleanliness and flavor into the olive oil. The nerantzi, on the other hand, creates an oil full of the unmistakable aroma of orange blossoms and a flavorful tingle of orange rind. Because the citrus juices and olive oil mix as they emerge from their fruits, these delicious oils will never separate. Use the Biolea lemon oil as a salad dressing or with salt to flavor steamed vegetables or greens. Use Biolea Nerantzi Oil as base for a delicious marinade on roasts or barbecued chicken.
